    @Crystal Bruce I have been dying to see The Fabulous Four, and I was “today old” when I realized our Mainstage Speaker is one of the Fabulous ladies.

    @Crystal Bruce I love Abbott Elementary and her character, Barbara, is one of my favorites! I didn't know that she founded a nonprofit, The DIVA Foundation. :)

  • @Crystal Bruce I had no idea she was in Dreamgirls and I hadn't put 2 and 2 together that she was the same actress that is in Abbott Elementary (which is incredible if you aren't already watching it)

    I was excited to begin with but now even more excited to hear from her. I also work for a nonprofit in the healthcare area and didn't know she started a Foundation of her own and is an advocate for health and wellness.

  • @Crystal Bruce – she played Madame Morrible in Wicked on Broadway!

    @Crystal Bruce
    The amazing Sheryl Lee Ralph had the honor of commemorating the 70th anniversary of Brown vs. Board of Education where she met some of the Little Rock Nine at the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture. That's pretty wonderful and cool. I love her passion for education and health.

  • @Crystal Bruce she was named one of the top ten college women in America by Glamour magazine. A fact I learned from my Dreamgirls Broadway Playbill circa 1982.

  • @Crystal Bruce she was the youngest women ever to graduate from Rutgers University. I find it interesting that she planned to study medicine but later switched to the performing arts. Good move on her part!
