SSES-Accounting Specialist Job Announcement

Located in Northwest Bradenton, Florida, a resort city on Florida’s beautiful Gulf Coast, Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School (SSES) serves approximately 700 students in PK3 to grade twelve. Founded in 1970, Saint Stephen’s is a member of NAIS, the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES), and the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS). SSES boasts a beautiful 35-acre campus that includes a state-of-the-art Marine Science Center, the Moore Athletic Center, and a brand-new STEAM Center, which is scheduled to open in August 2025.

The Accounting Specialist is a key member of Saint Stephen’s Business Office and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Key areas of responsibility include: managing student accounts, including entering billing information into the School’s third party accounts receivable software in an accurate, efficient and timely manner, ensuring timely receipt of payment from parents, reconciling cash receipts, and processing journal entries. This is a non-exempt, full-time position.

This is a full-time position and the salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience.
