Blackbaud recently issued a press release sharing how customers are raising funds for humanitarian relief to help the people of Ukraine. Since the start of the conflict, charitable organizations, individuals, and companies have been using Blackbaud solutions to engage supporters, raise funds and power their employee response programs. You can read about great examples of this generosity, and what Blackbaud is contributing to the cause here.

We’ve refreshed our member leaderboard with a new look! Check it out to see if your name is on it, to learn more about earning points and levels, and to find out the featured action that will earn you double points this month.
GET TO KNOW A NINJA
Each week, we aim to bring you a little closer to one of our Blackbaud Community super users (AKA Ninjas). This week, we would like to introduce Jennifer Warner; Development Manager at the Guthrie Clinic. Jennifer is a blue ninja, a Blackbaud Champion, and is Blackbaud Certified® in Raiser’s Edge® and Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT® (she holds professional-level certification for Raiser’s Edge NXT) . She is also a recent recipient of the Blackbaud Community loyalty badge – given to Community members who have been here five years or more!
What area are you in (geographically) and why do you love it?
I live in the northeast US, on the New York/Pennsylvania border - specifically in Corning, NY. In our area we enjoy a great arts and culture regional community as well prolific foodie/farm-to-table agricultural and culinary vibe. I am a stone’s throw from the Finger Lakes wineries, the water, or hiking trails complete with waterfalls. I am one mile from local museums, hands-on arts experiences, art galleries, and historic downtown Corning. I get all four seasons, all of which I’m allergic to, but on the other side, I have access to amazing healthcare to keep me upright and enjoying it all.
What area are you in (geographically) and why do you love it?

In our area we enjoy a great arts and culture regional community as well prolific foodie/farm-to-table agricultural and culinary vibe. I am one mile from local museums, hands-on arts experiences, art galleries, and historic downtown Corning. I get all four seasons, all of which I’m allergic to, but on the other side, I have access to amazing healthcare to keep me upright and enjoying it all.
What do you enjoy about the Blackbaud Community?
The Blackbaud Community has been a great addition to a robust suite of tools provided for user success - my success. In the Community, I find peers who are always willing to help, ideas to help solve complex business problems, and shared resources that provide the missing pieces to questions I often have regarding the “why” behind best practice as well as the “how.”.
What is something that you never thought you would enjoy at your current job that gets you up and motivates you now?
Through my work in philanthropy, as a database administrator, researcher and analyst, I have discovered that I have a special energy for data mining and integrity. I love distilling data into action for my team. Identifying, segmenting, and pipelining prospects and donors is how I do my real work - connecting people to their healthcare. I help donors and prospects discover the difference they can make by helping to align their philanthropic hearts with the programs, events, and giving opportunities that support the nonprofit mission of Guthrie.

I didn't make these through work. But I came up with the idea for these heart pins and my church has put them together. We have raised a little over $2,000 from the church members and some local businesses in our community.
