Report Parameters

Report parameters determine what information is included in your Financial Edge NXT reports, and how that information is displayed. 



For example, you can add and edit columns, column headings, and footer information. You can specify number and currency formats, and set filters to display only the information you want to include in the report. You can also use 'Save as' functionality to save a personal copy of the report parameters for future use, or to add security to the report parameters.



Keep in mind, the report parameters you set up and maintain in the database view appear in Financial Edge NXT. Likewise, when you edit a report's parameters in Financial Edge NXT, those changes appear in the database view. Here is a short video showing you just how easy it is to update report parameters in the database view, and then run the report in Financial Edge NXT. 



Currently in Financial Edge NXT, you can edit report parameters for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Custom Management reports. We will add the ability to edit report parameters for the Open Invoice report and General ledger report in upcoming releases.
