With this release, we introduced Bank feeds to a limited number of users. Bank feeds helps you maintain accurate, up-to-date cash balances, and provides the ability to review and clear transactions daily in preparation for reconciliation.


From Treasury, when bank feeds are enabled, you can connect the online bank accounts of your financial institutions to your Financial Edge NXT bank accounts. Once you link accounts, you can automatically download and match transactions from your online bank accounts to transactions within Financial Edge NXT.


We partner with Yodlee, a third-party financial aggregator, to ensure secure online account information and easy reconciliation, quick access to transactions and their statuses, and up-to-date bank account balances in Financial Edge NXT. This feature is currently in an Early Adopter Program (EAP). During this time, we will continue to review and implement participant feedback in preparation for a wider release. Mobile enhancments

Because many of you access Financial Edge NXT reports from mobile devices, we want to provide the best mobile experience possible. With this release, we made enhancements to the report viewer so that you can see more of your data and options as you work with reports.

Invoice approval

With this release, we added the ability to approve invoices directly from the invoice toolbar. This makes the approval process faster because you no longer have to access the Invoice edit form. Now, you can simply select Approve from the invoice record toolbar.



Note: To require invoice approval and help prevent unauthorized invoices or payments, you must mark the Do you want to require invoice approval before payment or posting? checkbox on the Invoice Business Rules page in the database view.
