This release of Financial Edge NXT includes enhancements to Budgets, a feature currently in our Beta program. 


To improve usability, the scenario budget list now displays all rows on one page with an “infinite” scroll bar. This scroll bar enhancement eliminates the need to navigate multiple pages of data in the list. 


You can also now add additional information to your budget scenarios using notes and attachments. For example, you may want to add a note for other users to review, such as "Numbers expected to change." For more information, see the Scenarios help topic.


Keep in mind, in the database view, "notes" are called "annotations." If you do not see this option, contact your administrator to make sure you have rights to budget scenarios in the database view.

 

Note: We introduced view-only budgets in Financial Edge NXT to help enhance and improve the feature throughout the beta period by monitoring your feedback. During Beta, we will release new features such as the ability to add, delete, and finalize budgets in the web view. For more information about web view features, see What's Next.
