This release of Financial Edge NXT includes several new features and enhancements, including the first iteration of Fixed Assets in the web view.


With Fixed Assets, you can store all the information your organization needs to properly track and manage assets like property and equipment.



This view-only version of Fixed Assets includes the Assets list page where you can view all your existing assets, and easily open individual asset records. The asset record displays information such as the asset ID, class, location, acquisition date and value, accumulated depreciation, book value and last depreciation date.


Under Fixed assets, Settings, you can view all your existing depreciation years and asset classes. And you can also run several Fixed assets reports, including the Acquisition Report, Asset Listing Report, Book Value Report, Depreciation Summary Report, and Year-to-Date Depreciation Report.


We will continue to add new features and functionality to Fixed Assets in the upcoming releases!

Deposit enhancement

Based on your feedback, we have consolidated and revised several fields on the Add deposit form. This will help improve data entry efficiency when adding deposits.  For detailed information about the new form, see the Add Deposits help topic. 

Expense management enhancements (EAP)

With this release, we also added the Settings page under Expenses. From the Settings page, you can manage expense settings such as approval rules and expense categories. 

• Use the Approval rules list to view all your existing approval rules for online invoice requests. For more information, see the Approval Rules help topic.
• Use the Expense categories list to view all your existing expense categories for online invoice requests. For more information, see the Expense Categories help topic.
