Making Hay of My Gardening Failures

Like most of you, I’ve had a lot of time on my hands over the past month. At first, that time was spent catching up on my favorite television shows, and mindlessly scrolling on my phone—super important stuff. But lately, I’ve been filling my time with something that’s actually productive … I’ve taken up gardening.

I have never had a green thumb. I should have been on some sort of watch list for how bad I was at keeping plants alive. But, now that I’m focusing on the effort, I’m learning to do a lot better.

What surprised me most about gardening is the “shear” number (get it?) of tools one needs to care for plants. Every single day I learn about something new out there that could dramatically improve my situation. My toolbox is expanding every day with different types of shovels, trowels, and pruners that I didn’t know existed just a few days before I got started.

Learning about and utilizing the right tools for the job can make any process so much easier. Which led me to think about all the invoicing tools available in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT.
