After the Session: Financial Edge and BBID, Getting Connected to your Solution
Another great session for the books! This topic comes up so frequently, and with so many different product lines involved, that it was worth doing again! I hope everyone found this session informative and a big THANK YOU to Eddie Barker for his work on the session.
Of those of you that attended, 60% have never had to set up a BBID and at the close of the session 86% said they understood the process better. Those are great numbers and a real testament to Eddie's knowledge and skill.

Q: I need to set up a new user (I'm not admin). I have created the user in FE NXT and database view using his email. However, he doesn't have a BBID. Should he create it for himself? Or should I ask the admin to invite him?
A: First, only an admin can invite new users. We recommend you wait until the user is invited so that the BBID can be created and link to the organization.
Q: Our organization changed our company email addresses, does this effect our BBID?
A: It can if you ever need to recover or reset your password. Also since support cases are tied to BBID, in order to be properly notified, having up to date information is key. To change your email address, follow the instructions listed here.
Q: If someone leaves the organization, how can I make their BBID invalid?
A: The Organization Administrator at your organization can make a user Inactive so they are no longer able to log into blackbaud.com on behalf of your organization or access your solution. For instructions on how to make a user inactive, click here.
