Product Update Briefing

SKY UX Update

We have completed the SKY UX update for Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT— the underlying framework that allows us to deliver a more cohesive user experience across many of our products.

We’ve recently released updates to Expense Management. You can see product screenshots and learn more about these enhancements by checking out What's New.

Editing Distributions

As part of our SKY UX update, we made several enhancements to the Distributions grids. Many of these updates will make data entry easier when you edit distributions!

Help Center

We’re excited to introduce the Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT Help Center, a new central location for help resources.

From the Help Center, you can:

  • Search help topics.
  • Access quick links to What’s New, the Idea Bank, and other information we periodically highlight such as a link to our 2022 certification opportunities or possibly new videos or tutorials.
  • Browse featured highlights for user resources and upcoming events.
  • Scan our announcements from the Community feed.
  • Bookmark convenient links to Community, Support, Training, and System resources from the footer.
  • Review help topics using a streamlined display and easier navigation from the left side.

The Help Center is also easily accessible in the solution or a bookmark in your browser:

  • To access the help center home page from Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT ®, open the help panel and select Blackbaud from the top left side of any topic.

    From a help topic in the solution, select View in our Help Center to open the topic with a full-page view in a new browser window.

    To access the Help Center when you’re working outside of Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT ®, bookmark this URL.

  • Release Updates. Check out What's Recent, What's New, and What's Next to get all the details on prior, current, and future releases. To help keep you up to date on the most recent developments, What's New automatically opens when you log in to the web view.
  • In-Product Help. Help documentation throughout Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT is context sensitive. So, no matter where you are in the solution, you can click the bright green question mark at the top right of your screen to get help for that feature.
