Did you know that it’s possible the earliest school (that resembled what WE think of as a structured learning environment) was established and evolved by Mentuhotep II, pharaoh who ruled during Egypt’s Middle Kingdom? Coincidentally, Egypt’s Middle Kingdom spanned from around 2060 to 2016 BC—as many years BC as we are AD, now!

Education has taken on so many different characteristics over the years. Religious education, primary education, college or university education, and trade-specific education are just a few of the forms “getting schooled” has taken over the years. Many believe that learning itself is elemental to living—if you’re not learning, you’re not living.

We, here at Blackbaud University, celebrate learning at every stage. For your Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT learning journey, you should start with the foundational information about the system. Luckily, we’ve designed four 90-minute sessions that will give you the fundamentals of how to enter and maintain data in your system, in addition to learning how to access self-help resources and run basic reports.
