Subcommittee Reports
  • Update from CRM Cloud Sub-Committee – Chair, Julie Vargo, The Ohio State University
Survey was sent to committee members and responses were sent to Blackbaud
  • Update from Data Hygiene Sub-Committee – Chair, Michael Felberbaum, Yale University
  • The Data Hygiene Sub-Committee aims to build trust and confidence in each of our institution’s CRM’s by identifying best practices and opportunities for improvement
  • So far we’ve had 3/6 of our meetings, all of which have been highly productive
  • We have covered different domains including biographical information, contact information, demographic information and employment information
  • We have identified two top priorities in CRM functionality that we believe would benefit all CRM customers: First, improvements to the constituent matching algorithm; and second, an easier ability to update any field in bulk.
  • We will continue with our remaining topics through December.
  • We look forward to partnering with Blackbaud, and we are grateful for the collaboration with the other 10 institutions participating in this sub-committee.

Customer Presentation: Chris Keene, UConn Foundation
  • UConn Foundation will present their streamlined gift import process that was developed using the Blackbaud CRM SDK.
Customer Presentation: Will Palmer and Keith Posey, Boston College
  • Boston College will present their BBCRM (named Spark) & Cvent integration. Highlights to include initial data load into Cvent, bi-directional sync operations between Spark (BBCRM) and Cvent, as well as outbound sourcing for SFMC.
