Community User Guide: Bookmarks

Good afternoon all!  The Community Manager team has heard that some sections of the Community site are a little tricky and that others aren't being used, so we've been putting together some guides for pieces that we think you'll be interested in.  If you want to hear about a specific section or feature, shoot me a private message and I'll be glad to pull something together.  So, without further ado...



 

Bookmarks

Did you know that the Community site has an internal Bookmark feature?  Forum posts, blog posts, resources, and events can all be added to your bookmarks for later reference.  



Forum posts, events, and resources all have their bookmark buttons on the bottom of the item: 











Blog posts can be bookmarked using the button under the Community Menu:





So where do those go?  The My Community page.  







These bookmarks can be expanded out by category and you can remove any old bookmarks by hovering over the item and clicking the remove button that appears.  Clicking the bookmark link will bring you to the item directly.
