Celebrating Pride Month Together

During the month of June, cities across the US and Canada are kicking off Pride Month celebrations, joining a global tradition of acknowledging and uplifting LGBTQIA+ communities. Pride Month is a time to elevate LGBTQIA+ voices, honor the rich culture, and recognize those who have tirelessly worked towards achieving equal rights. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals worldwide. Despite the progress made, there are still hurdles to overcome, and we acknowledge the crucial importance of advocating for human rights and dignity for all individuals.

We’ll be observing Pride Month with a series of employee-led activities designed to educate, inspire, and foster meaningful dialogue across our company. Employees attended a special luncheon to kick off the month and will participate other opportunities like Color Week—employees wear a different color of the Pride flag each day to learn more about what that color represents in the LGBTQIA+ community, volunteer to write encouraging notes of affirmation for isolated LGBTQIA+ elderly, hear from guest speakers, and more!
