What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT EAP: New Measures And An Attribute

Raiser's Edge NXT recently updated Insights with new measures to help you analyze overall totals and past due pledges. In addition, you can also use the new Gift subtype attribute to dig further into giving measures.

bba43706762c38a613b6402190725f00-huge-moOverall totals. To analyze your overall totals, you can now use these measures with an insight:
  • Constituent actions — Your total number of tasks and interactions with constituents, not including advocacy actions.
  • Constituents — Your total number of individual and organization constituents.
  • Donors — The total number of constituents with any giving history.
  • Opportunities — With Prospect Research Management, your total number of opportunities, such as to cultivate a prospect relationship or secure a major gift.
By default, these measures include all records of their respective type. To narrow the focus of a measure used with an insight, select it and then Add attribute filter to choose the criteria of the records to include.

Past due pledges. To analyze pledges with overdue installments, you can now use these measures with an insight:
  • Pledge amount past due — The total amount pending through overdue installments
  • Pledges past due — The total number of pledges with overdue installments
By default, these measures include all pledges with overdue installments. To include fewer pledges, such as only those toward specific campaigns or funds, select the measure and then Add attribute filter to choose the criteria of those to include.

With this attribute, you can compare totals and amounts by categorization of gifts based on their type, such as short descriptions of gifts-in-kind. You can also use this attribute as a filter, to include only gifts with specific subtypes in your analysis.

  • Just a heads up that we've identified an issue with the new Constituents measure, where it's currently counting all individuals and organizations, not just constituents. We're working to fix this, and I'll update you here when it's resolved. Thanks for participating in the EAP!
