Blackbaud Grantmaking is the premiere grantmaking solution for foundations of all sizes. Blackbaud Grantmaking is helping foundations all over the world achieve their missions by delivering capabilities that allow customers to measure their impact, improve collaboration with stakeholders and fund recipients, and streamline workflows.

We’re delivering on our promise to enhance the power of Blackbaud Grantmaking by embracing the user interface and usability improvements gained through our adoption of SKY UX. The new user interface for Blackbaud Grantmaking will allow customers to:

• Access Blackbaud Grantmaking via any browser
• Benefit from a consistent, cohesive user experience across multiple Blackbaud solutions
• Access Blackbaud products and services with a single email and password using Blackbaud ID

We’ve continued to make tremendous progress toward our goal of transitioning Blackbaud Grantmaking to the SKY UX user interface and making it available for existing customers in Q4 of 2020. As we continue to build and release enhancements, we are dedicated to keeping our customers informed. To communicate our progress, we’ll be posting a Community update every two weeks.

And for this week’s update, we have two exciting things to share with you...

First, on August 6^th we’ll provide our second Blackbaud Grantmaking Product Update Briefing (to see the video from our first, please click here). During this virtual event, we’ll provide additional details on the enhancements we’ve been working on and talk about how your organization can begin preparing for your transition to the new user interface.

Second, we’re thrilled to provide you with a sneak peek at what we’ve been working on recently.

With the new SKY UX interface for Blackbaud Grantmaking, you can expect a cleaner, more modern experience throughout the system. Here is a quick look at the classic view (top image below) compared to the new interface (bottom image below). What is known as the ribbon menu in the classic view will be updated to the omni-bar, which is consistent across multiple Blackbaud solutions, providing streamlined navigation and a cohesive experience for our customers.
