Hi Blackbaud Community,

At Blackbaud, we’re inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of the “Beloved Community”—a world rooted in justice, equality, and compassion. His belief in the power of nonviolent activism reminds us that small acts of service can lead to meaningful change.

In 2025, Blackbaud employees demonstrated this vision through participation in over 2,000 community projects, contributed more than 25,000 volunteer service hours, and used matching gifts to support 645 nonprofits. These numbers aren’t just data points—they’re stories of lives impacted and communities strengthened through collective action.

We invite you to reflect on your organization’s impact and share your favorite moments with us. We know the work you do every day adds another building block of meaningful change for the communities and individuals you serve. Share your stories and special moments below and inspire others! Photos welcome.

Let’s all do our part to continue building the “Beloved Community” together.

Happy MLK Day!

Happy MLK Day for sure! Such an awesome day here at The Putney School. We had over 14 workshops with students and adults all taking part, plus evening shows featuring art, music, dance, theater, poetry, and photography — all of that stuff wasn’t even around when we woke up yesterday! I was laughing so hard I cried sometimes. Other moments, I had to do some box breathing to stay chill while we talked about current events. I really love these opportunities to hang out and connect with our incredible students and amazing faculty. I was part of a group that discussed climate justice, and even when we weren’t doing a formal presentation, we had some really deep conversations and made some great connections. It’s inspiring to see how many ways there are to make a difference. Added some layered seeing to my tool belt.
