Position Overview

Winning At Home is seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented Accountantto support the financial operations of our faith-based nonprofit organization. This role is vital to faithful stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to our ministry and to maintaining financial integrity, transparency, and compliance. Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge is not required but is highly preferred, and candidates with this experience will be given priority consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records using Financial Edge
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Process journal entries, bank deposits, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Reconcile donations, pledges, and gifts between Raiser’s Edge and Financial Edge
• Prepare financial reports for leadership and board review
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and internal controls
• Manage annual audit preparation
• Monitor investment renewals, gather rates, and discuss recommendations with supervisor
• Track and manage renewal of all non-benefit-related insurance policies
• Collaborate with development staff to ensure accurate donor and contribution reporting

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge (preferred)
• Prior experience in nonprofit or ministry accounting (preferred)
• Ability to analyze processes and improve efficiencies
• Working knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to serve in a ministry environment

Schedule & Compensation

• This position is expected to be part-time (approximately 30 hours/week), with the potential for full-time based on organizational needs and fit
• Compensation commensurate with experience and nonprofit accounting background
