Annual Giving Coordinator at Hathaway Brown School

Position Overview:

The Annual Giving Coordinator is a vital member of the Advancement and Alumnae Engagement Team responsible for the tactical execution and operational support of Hathaway Brown School's comprehensive, multi-channel annual giving program, The Fund for Hathaway Brown. Working under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving, this position plays a key role in achieving the $3 million annual fund goal by executing campaigns, engaging donors, managing volunteers, stewarding data, and coordinating events.

The coordinator supports the Director in implementing innovative, data-driven campaigns across all donor constituencies—alumnae, current and past parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends of the school—and ensures seamless execution of stewardship activities that reflect Hathaway Brown's values and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute multi-channel annual giving campaigns (email, direct mail, social media, phone outreach) to achieve the annual revenue goal across all constituencies: alumnae, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends 
  • Serve as strategic liaison between Board of Trustees and advancement team, aligning Board engagement with fundraising priorities and tracking Board giving and participation
  • Manage volunteer programs including Hathaway Brown Parent Association liaison duties, parent and alumnae solicitors, and reunion campaigns in partnership with Alumnae Engagement team
  • Maintain donor database (Raiser's Edge), process gifts, extract and analyze data for campaign planning and segmentation, and generate reports for leadership and Board of Trustees
  • Execute timely donor acknowledgments, stewardship communications, and recognition programs (annual report listings, special initiatives)
