Financial Edge NXT® Receivables: Webinar Follow‑Up

Thank you to everyone who attended our last webinar, Navigating Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT® Accounts Receivable Workflows and Query. We know there were some persistent audio issues with the demos that were shown; thank you for your patience as we worked through those technical hiccups.

The demos have been added to the recording of the webinar so if you would like to revisit either “Managing Billing Items” or “Managing Clients”, they can be found here by looking at the Resources section.  

Several common questions came up in the webinar. This blog serves to answer those questions and to highlight some of our Receivables resources available to you: 

  1. Receivables: What’s Recent is the best way to stay up to date on the receivables features that have been released in Financial Edge NXT. 
  2. Recurring Invoices: Recurring invoices are templates you use to create regular invoices quickly and easily according to a schedule. They are helpful for tracking recurring revenues such as monthly rental income, planned giving donations, and grant reimbursement requests. They also provide basic info such as the client’s name and notes to help save time adding invoices. From Receivables, Invoices, under Recurring, you can view and sort the list of recurring invoices and add new ones. For more information on how to utilize recurring invoices, please see our help file
  3. Third Party Billing: For all questions related to third party billing, we recommend utilizing the Receivables: Managing Third-party Applications Tutorial
