Applicant and Grantee Portal

As a reminder, the Legacy IGAM Portal is scheduled to shut down on July 29, 2026, as communicated last week via email and in this week’s PUB. Start using the new Applicant and Grantee Portal now to avoid last‑minute disruption. Why is the IGAM portal shutting off?

The new Applicant and Grantee Portal became available for all Blackbaud Grantmaking customers globally in June of 2024 and provides significant benefits over the Legacy (IGAM) solution. We have redesigned the end-to-end experience for applicants and grantees through this new Portal and encourage you to download the Applicant and Grantee Portal Transition Checklist, and visit the Help FileFrequently Asked Questions, and Customer Success resource page for further details and help navigating and learning about the experience.

What’s New

We’re excited to announce several powerful enhancements that are now available in Blackbaud Grantmaking™. These updates are designed to streamline your workflows and give you more control over your grantmaking data.

  • Option to require applicants to enter organization information — You can now require applicants to enter their organization information instead of searching the Blackbaud Verified Network database.
  • New columns added to Workspace views — Requests and Requirements views now include additional columns, Application ID, Form Name, and Program Name directly in Workspace, making it easier to identify and distinguish records without opening each one.

What’s Next

We’re currently working on several features and enhancements for Blackbaud Grantmaking™. Here are some of the updates you’ll see in upcoming releases:

  • Multiple Responses on Requirements
  • Reject applications
  • Project title on applications
  • Outcomes

Customer Research Study 2026

The Blackbaud Grantmaking Product Management and User Experience team regularly conducts research studies to learn more about customers’ experiences with Blackbaud Grantmaking. Your input helps shape future enhancements to the product and overall experience. Sessions are typically 50-60 minutes and scheduled as opportunities arise.
