I wanted to come but I have a senior in high school, so my schedule is already pretty packed! Hoping next year will be my year!
Our fiscal year ends 9/30. It was manageable last year since I was able to double down the week before to get a few things taken care of ahead of time and then do what I could during breaks and evenings, but missing the last two days of my fiscal isn't feasible. I'm crossing my fingers next year will work.
As much as I would love to attend regular flavour bbcon, I live and work in the UK so it would be ludicrously and inappropriately expensive for me to attend.
Oooh that's a good point - bbcon is often either at a financial year end or scheduled over religious holidays where work is not allowed. Very tricky.
October is Bat Appreciation Month and we're launching two different appeals on October 1 (eek)! Plus we're onboarding with HubSpot for marketing and I'm setting up a ton of Omatic imports so this year just didn't work out for me. 😭
BBCON always lands at the same time as a lot of Giving Days or Parent Week for independent schools, which unfortunately are all hands-on-deck days - especially for me as the gift processor. One day I hope to attend <3
