Hello,

I have created a letter to send out to my regular donors.  I want to be able to insert the Merge Value 'Installment Amount' and the 'Frequency'.

When I generate the letters the figure inserted is zero?  I am completely new to eTap and this is my first communication to my regular donors.

    This is likely due to the query you are using. Since you want to include fields that are on a Journal Entry you'll want to make sure the data return type of your query is Journal Entries (not Accounts) and that the results of your query includes the Recurring Gift Schedules (not the gifts themselves). What we need to think about is where the field lives. Installment Amount and Frequency won't be on the account or even on an individual gift, but on that Recurring Gift Schedule.


    If you're having trouble getting the results you need from your query it may be something to chat with eTapestry support about. You'll probably want to include Journal Entry Type and mark Recurring Gift Schedule but I can't speak to the rest of your query criteria, it may be ok as-is outside of that.
