Our organization is trying to create a more robust social media strategy. What vendors do you use for tracking your social media engagement, and how do you, in turn, use that data to help gather prospects for your development staff? We have RE NXT and Net Community but are looking for a more robust social media vendor.

This is very interesting. We too are looking for a way to track our social media engagement and link it to Rasier's Edge. Overall, we want to track social media, email engagement, donations, etc. to get the full picture of our constituents. I have been exploring many options but I cannot seem to come up with a solid plan. I am discovering, from different organizations I am talking with, that they are using 2 or 3 different platforms and manually piecing the information. It seems like a Frankenstein approach, but I am unsure there is a better solution.

It's so funny you ask this question. I just listened to a Blackbaud webinar regarding new Annual Fund Phone program software and kept thinking- "What about social media!?"I have no answer but as soon as someone does I have a feeling a bunch of us are going to jump on it!!
