Applicant recalling an application

Is it possible for an applicant to recall an application if it has not been considered yet?  An applicant wants to fix a mistake and resubmit.  Do I have to consider it and then reject it in order for them to do that.  Or is there another way - since it has not been considered yet.

This way you can push back the application, before you 'Consider' it and bring into the database. So the applicant can make changes and re-submit.
