Payments Api transaction testing questions

Hi there,


I am working with a client to integrate the Payments Api into our application and I have a couple questions I am hoping someone could assist with.


Firstly, the client has setup a test payment configuration for us to use, so I am able to call the transactions endpoint successfully. I saw in another post that the credit cards in this link can be used to test the Api. I noticed the cards that I would expect to return a success response were returning a declined response. The specific error that was being returned was a "TransactionGatewayDeclineError". Are the cards in that link still the ones that can be used for testing?


Also, I was wondering about live payments testing. Is it possible to set up our own account to do live payment testing?


If someone could help me with these issues it would be much appreciated.

Yes, the link your are using for test credit cards is correct and the first set of numbers for Success/Authorized remains unchanged.  Since this is a test transaction, please share your request details here for assistance in troubleshooting.


For live testing, you will need to continue to work directly with the customer.  We do not currently support merchant accounts for service providers.

Fortunately, I figured out the first issue was a configuration mistake on my part.
