The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized

in Blackbaud CRM Developer Discussions
I restored a copy of the CRM DB, I updated the DB encryption key, applied the restore script to alter the virtual dir locations and Server name to my PC name.  I created self signed certs. I have CRM and BBIS running as service in IIS.  I granted the network account account to all the BlackBaud files.  I can log into my local instance of  CRM but the WebService calls from custom code or via BBIS all keeping failing with The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.


Anyone have any additional ideas?

    I had the same issue this weekend. Support pointed me to the settings table in the CRM database. Once I updated all of the rows that reference the production environment and did and IIS reset, BBIS worked again.
