Use of third party card readers or an app

To use either chip technology or scan technology using third party card readers. Currently Blackbaud card readers can only use swipe technology. Is this possible through any API set-up?

    Hi Scott,


    Do you have additional information on the client's use case and requirements for an application and card reader? Blackbaud's Payments API supports point-to-point encryption (P2PE) for card present or back-office transactions, so that could be an option but it all depends on the use case.
