To use either chip technology or scan technology using third party card readers. Currently Blackbaud card readers can only use swipe technology. Is this possible through any API set-up?

Hi Scott,
Do you have additional information on the client's use case and requirements for an application and card reader? Blackbaud's Payments API supports
point-to-point encryption (P2PE)
for card present or back-office transactions, so that could be an option but it all depends on the use case.
