Recording sessions of work with groups and then reporting on them
Clare Turner
I have worked out how to record sessions of work with the young people we work with (query, then mass update into journal contact records) - but it seems (according to Customer Services) that there is no easy way to answer the question 'how many sessions have you delivered over a certain time period and how many young people attended those sessions'. Any queries I create bring up all the constituent records, with the session information against each constituent, so that when the query result is exported to Excel there are multiple rows for each session (1 for each constituent) and there is then no way to sum the numbers attending each session without manually deleting all but one of the rows for each session. I'm completely stuck, and we are having to go back to creating spreadsheets and inputting the necessary information onto them, without using etapestry at all.
Any ideas?
