Financial Edge to FE NXT conversion

Hello!


Can anyone tell me about their experience converting from FE to FE NXT? Was it smooth? Was there are a lot of preparation involved? How long was the conversion process? Is there anything you wish you would've known in advance? I would appreciate any feedback, good or bad. Thanks!

    We started using NXT and hosted version of FE in July.  It was really easy, even though we had to get used to being hosted.  It's nice to be able to continue to use the old FE as well as the new one.  There was no implementation required other than getting the users their passwords in NXT.  Settings stay the same.


    We did have a little trouble getting our test database set up in NXT.  I didn't understand the invitation process and I think that's what went awry on that.


    Overall very easy.

    We work with many databases and the conversion was simple. They said to plan for 3 days but only took 1, in all cases. Only issues could be if you use omatic or web portal.Than you want them to test web portal ahead of time. And omatic, reach out to the vendor.
