Anyone Use Bill.com with FENXT?
Our Church recently moved over from Quickbooks Online to FENXT. With Quickbooks we had 3rd party apps like Bill.com and Expensify. Bill.com was an app where we could enter our vendor bills and it would sync into QBO. It would also allow us to pay vendors. So Bill.com would take the lump sum of the money out of our bank and Bill.com would disperse checks or ACH payments on our behalf. It also acts as a digital filing cabinet where I can access vendor records, bills, payment to those bills, etc. It also has a multilayered approval structure where I could have 3-4 people approve a bill depending on what depts were involved in that transaction. Our auditors gave us really high praise because that app covered so many areas where organizations have major holes in structure.
Anyways, we aren't seeing an easy way for us to do manual CSV import. I think BlackBaud said we could pay them and they would try and create an auto sync. That's an option. Just wondering if anyone here has ever used Bill.com OR if you have another idea of what you do for your AP. The idea of going back to printing checks, stuffing envelopes, scanning bills/check stubs for filing does not sound appealing to me. Seems like a step back in technology being that we are in 2020.
We are a multicampus church so FE should be great for us in terms of reporting (where QBO failed) but I'm stumbling all over the place trying to find streamlined processes for our day to day bookkeeping and CC expense management structures. If you run a similar organization I would LOVE to connect with you.

We are a mulit-campus church moving over from QBO to FENXT, going live June 1. We never made the jump to Bill.com or Expensify while we were on the QBO platform, so I don't have too much to offer in that regard, however I'd love to keep in touch as we move through this process since we seem to be similar organizations navigating the same accounting situation. We are planning on using Expense Management with the BB Purchase Cards to handle our credit card expenses. We'd love to streamline our payables so I'll be following this thread as well to see what our options are.0

I have used Bill.com with QBO and Intacct and it worked great. Unfortunetly, BB will not allow imports of payments. Have you been successful using Bill.com with FE or FENXT?
I am currently in a trial with Bill.com but not sure it will be a great solution due to the limitations of FE.
I am surprised that you are moving from QBO to FE. There are other solutions that would probably work better for you. (I have implemented a few over the years)0 -
Just bumping this question… Is anyone using Bill.com / Divvy for expense mgmt, p-cards, automatic bill paying with approvals? Is there an integration with NXT?

@Bo Baggett – Omatic Software has an API-based integration toolset for integrating third-party transactional data into FE NXT. The API creates open J/E batches in FE NXT that can be reviewed and then posted. It's very slick. Please let me know if you'd like to learn more.
