editing and saving favorite templates in communications

I would like to edit a newly created thank you letter. I realized it after I ran the letters in the last step. Is there a way to go back to the document once the download has been completed?

Thank!

    HI Kathy,

Yes.  With any template, if you've noticed something you'd like to change, or a typo is there that needs to be corrected, etc., just simply go back into Communications, click the category the template is saved in, click the name of the template, and then make the change on the Edit step.  Click Save and Finish or do Save and Create Documents, and you can match up your query with that template again.

Of course, it's frustrating to see a problem or there's a correction needed after you have completed the process, but if you go don't print the letters, then really there is no harm.  You can simply delete the file you've downloaded.

For Emails, you just have to make sure you are sending yourself a test or proofreading before you click to send out the mass email.

Lastly, at any point, you can download a PDF or Word file preview on the Edit step on the left hand side of the screen.  There is also an option to send yourself a preview email too just to make sure everything looks good and is how you want it!

    Thanks!

  • Hi Geoff,

Thanks so much for the steps. I just played around with the
templates and figured things out. I am much more comfortable with
communications in general after using it often.

    Thanks again,

    Kathy Miller
