FE EFT Remittance Emails - what information is sent in the email to the vendor

Hi!

Is anyone using the email remittance option with EFTs? What information does the vendor receive? Is it a copy of the EFT, EFT and Invoice, or something else? Also can you add more than one email address for the remittance to be sent to?

    Hi Angela,

With the email remittance option, the vendor gets an email that contains the Invoice number, Payment Amount, and Payment Date. I've included a screenshot in this response if it helps!

In my testing, you can only send a remittance email to one email address per invoice.

    Hope this helps!

  • The only issue we have with the email remittance is when we are paying a vendor multiple invoices it does not tell them the total dollar amount anywhere in the email. They then need to manually add up the list of invoices in that email in order to "verify" the amount with their bank.
  • Good to know Kristy Soular‍!!
  • Is there a way to include the addenda (Invoice#, description) in the EFT file?
  • Does anyone know if the EFT remittance emails can be customized? What happens if you have an incorrect eft email address for a vendor? Can you tell if an remittance email has bounced back?

  • @Crystal Ratering if you have an incorrect email, it does not bounce back, just goes to wrong inbox.

we have issues about the emails sometimes going and sometimes not.

What is the maximum number of invoices that can be listed on an EFT email remittance?

    Hi Angela,

We use the email option with the EFT. It is a great feature, but the email shows that it is coming from Blackbaud rather than the organization. Some of our staff reported the email as phishing when receiving the email for expense reimbursements.
