Financial Transaction Line Item Smartfield and the DW

I'm creating a Financial Transaction line Item Smartfield. It's working exactly as intended and shows up in query/export under the Revenue Application node. I'm also able to flag it to go to the Data Warehouse with no problem.


However, it never actually gets populated in the DW. In the BBDW_FACT_REVENUESPLITSMARTFIELD.dtsx package, it filters to only include "Revenue Application" Smartfields.


I tried recreating it as a Revenue Application Smartfield, but it doesn't show under query or export (at least that I've found and not where it would seem to make sense).


I'm guessing this is a bug, but wanted to cast a wider net to see if I'm missing something.

Hi,


Yes we've hit this issue, blackbaud acknowledged as a bug, particularly because the "Include in Warehouse" Stored Procedure limits to Smart Fields of Record Type 'Constitutent' or Financial Transaction Line Item, so the DTSX then filtering for "Revenue Application" is directly at odds.


The fix for us was getting a revised dtsx file from Blackbaud that I think they'd just manually changed that filter in a text editor to avoid Visual Studio issues.
