Does the SKY API work with Blackbaud CRM, or does it only work with Raiser's Edge NXT, Church Management, and Financial Edge NXT? Also, is there a difference between Raiser's Edge and Raiser's Edge NXT?

Hi Will,

At the moment, there are no SKY APIs that work with Blackbaud CRM.

Whether the terms "Raiser's Edge" and "Raiser's Edge NXT" refer to the same product depends a little on the context. NXT refers to a newer, more modern SaaS version of The Raiser's Edge from Blackbaud, accessed via a browser (you'll see this referred to as "Web view"). But NXT also includes the Raiser's Edge "database view", which is a Windows desktop application accessed via the browser using Citrix. Both web and database view access the same underlying database (with web view also accessing newer data structures not part of the classic Windows application).
