Deposit Column Width

Silly question, but has anyone figured out how to save the changes made to your column width in deposits? I adjust them so that the descriptions each fit on one line and every time I change screens, I have to readjust the column widths. I've removed all the columns I don't want in my lists, but they are still all crammed over on the left-hand side when I'd prefer them to be spread out across the page.
