Global change in FE7 and the database view of FE NXT

1. Do you use Global change in FE? 

2. If so what are the records that you use this capability for? And how often?

We use it quite often after downloading or copying over journal entries. We use it mostly to change post dates, journal references and account numbers. It saves us so much time.

I use it regularly to change JE descriptions, post dates.

I use it periodically to change GL account descriptions or attributes.

I am attempting to use it to globally change account segments, but there is no option to select account segments (department, division). I need to do this in GL and Fixed Assets distribution tables for hundreds of records. I don't want to have to go into each one and change it.

Is this feature coming to nxt? We use it a couple times per year when we have big changes to make. For example, we will inactive vendors with no invoices within a certain time frame. We also do this for accounts with no activity or budget within a certain time frame. Most of the time there's a query that we use as the filter and then tell the system what field to change. It's an awesome feature that I just noticed is not in nxt yet.
