Thanks for the question. This endpoint and the batch id is intended to be used after you've already submitted a batch for processing through the Payments API. If you would like to use the batch processing feature through the Payments API, please follow the link here and provide information on your use case: https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/194170. You will need approval before being able to submit any batches, but after that I would be happy to help walk through the process.
