Converting an Excel document into a URL

Hello.

I am looking to convert an Excel document into a URL. The reason why I want to do this is because the applicant downloads the template, fills it out, then uploads it with other attachments.

See enclosed.

Since this isn't a Blackbaud-related issue, I didn't see much point in asking support. A google search told me how to place a URL inside a Excel worksheet, but that's not what I'm looking for. And, one of my templates has multiple worksheets.

Thanks in advance,

Jane

  • So you need a url link to the document so they can download the template, correct?

We have that for many of our templates and our communications area creates the url through our website and we embed that into our application. I don't believe there is any other way to do that except through your website.

  • We use Filezilla. It allows us to create a link or a folder to the document that we want them to download, complete and upload.

Alternatively, if you are using an RFP,  you could include the documents in the invitation.

    Good Luck.
  • Thanks, Deena and Paula!
