Authorization Gotcha?

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this one.

If I authorize access to, say, the School API using Google/SSO - with or without 2-Step Verification - and accidentally select an environment which doesn't have access, I get a message saying that the environment doesn't have rights to the API.

But as far as I can tell, there is no way to retry the environment selection (without, say, deleting saved credentials/tokens).

With a manual/email authorization, I get popped back to environment selection, but with Google/SSO, I just get the option to confirm authorization or cancel.

Is there a trick to this I'm missing?

I'd appreciate any clarification.
