Hi,


We have been building an API to bulk upload constituents from SITS into RE NXT. However we have hit a snag whereby only 1 record can up updated at a time.


Blackbaud tell us that this is by design.


Is it really true that we can only upload changes to a single constituent at a time? Sounds almost inconceivable. 


We have tens of thousands to get through, yet support have told us we would need a unique JSON file for each one.

    Hi Bill,


    Blackbaud might have more information on this, but to my knowledge and recent experience, bulk data upload in general is not (yet) supported.


    We also are hanging out for bulk data support for Action creation in particular.

    Yes, this is how it is I am afraid. It is only possible to add one constituent at a time. The big limitation is that you are only able to reach 25,000 endpoints per day (more if you have partner status with Blackbaud) as well which means that, if you want to update very many you have to stretch it out over a number of days. They really do need to get this functionality added.
