Course Withdrawals with a "W" Grade

Hi All,


Just wondering what other users are doing for students who Withdraw with a W for courses. Right now, the only thing that I did was add a "W" to their final grade for the course. However, our faculty have said they would also prefer if the students were also "hidden" from their Gradebooks. I'm not sure there's a way to do this without removing them completely from the class (which is what I don't want to do since we need the course on their records), but looking for some insight to how other higher ed schools are using the system. We recently implemented and are still learning.
