Creating benchmark reports with monthly info

I see there is  a standard benchmark report looking at years but I want to be able to look at donor trends by month over the past few years. Is there any way of doing this without having to do monthly queries and piecing it together? I can manually do it by quarters but we want it my months as quarters are too broad for all we do.


I mean, facebook or wordpress can easily track your traffic and give you nice visuals to look at. We want to do that easily with our donors. Suggestions?
