creating athletic events

Hi-

I'm evaluating the SKY api with respect to syncing our athletic schedule with a separate vendor. It is unclear to me if if the SKY api Patch game is capable of creating a practice or match. The ON api has this ability, and the migration documentation points to the Patch endpoint in SKY, but I am not able to use it (that I've found in testing via the console) without a schedule_id from an existing event. Am I missing something simple?

Hi Nef,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It was an oversight and we'll be closing this gap in the next 2 weeks. Check the release letter with the API Changelog to detect when this is available.

I have yet to see any school-related SKY api updates, yet the most recent update letter indicates that the SKY api incorporates all the functionality of the ON api. I'd really prefer not to be required to use the ON api due to this inaccuracy.
