Expense Management - Expense Detail/Purpose

When a user creates an invoice request through expense management and they enter in details in the Expense Detail/Purpose, after that request is approved, those notes disappear. Often times they are important notes that need to carry through to the invoice. Is there a way to have those comments flow through to the invoice, or can we get rid of that section all together so people don't use that for important comments/notes, and I can create a custom field for that?

I 100% agree. The data needs to follow or the field needs to be removed!

Totally agree as I have been experiencing the same issue. For what it's worth, I've come to learn the information entered in the "Expense Detail/Purpose" is visible on the invoice record in database (Invoice Request tab). That's been my workaround but it'd be nice to see it in NXT/Expense Management without the need to juggle between NXT & database as much.

@Erin Hall My workaround has been to Copy important information, Approve the invoice, go to the Invoice tab, select the invoice number on the appropriate vendor, and find Notes in the side bar and Paste there, It's extra work but you don't loose important info.
