How do you set the default to navigate to the Dashboard instead of the Workspace?

Hi Julie Payeff, if you visit https://app.blackbaud.com/gmk, that will default to the Dashboards. If you're following a bookmark or link that leads you somewhere else, like the Workspace, it's possible you may have bookmarked a more specific URL, like https;//app.blackbaud.com/gmk/workspace. Unlike Blackbaud Grantmaking Classic View, different areas of SKY View are separated into different web pages with their own URLs. This improves performance (your browser has less things running at one time) and also makes it possible to link people directly to specific areas of the app, if you ever want to.

On launch, it defaults to dashboard. Once you complete a task and close the active window it navigates back to the Workspace, not the dashboard. In Gifts Online it would go back to the main dashboard.


The only thing I found that helps is when opening a dashboard element, select "Open in Workspace" rather than the magnifying glass. It will keep your dashboard item you selected open as a tab and you can navigate back more easily. You need to refresh the dashboard occasionally as you complete the tasks though so the data reflects your changes.
