Is it just me or...........???

I know that issues with reporting began a few weeks ago, and we all hoped that these issues would be resolved quickly. However, it seems as if the issues have only increased, rather than getting better. Today, (this is the first time this has happened for me) I am absolutely unable to print a report from NXT. We have never been able to just print a report, as we always get the message that this browser (Chrome) does not support printing. This seems ludicrous to me, but we have managed to work around that particular issue by exporting to PDF and then printing. HOWEVER.......today, I seem to have lost the ability to export to PDF. Nothing happens......it's as if the "PDF button" has been disabled. I try to convert to a Word document....same thing....crickets. So, I try exporting to Excel. It appears the report generates, but when it's time to download....again......nothing. Now, I am able to go to the database view and print, but if going to the database view for every workaround solution is the answer, then I am ready to just stay there and ditch NXT.

Ok..........rant over.

This happened to me a couple of days ago. However, I was using MS EDGE as my web browser. Nothing would export or print.

Luckily I just shut down everything and rebooted my PC and that seemed to fix everything.

I've got a March fiscal year end so these reporting issues are not helping at all. :(
  • I also use Chrome as my default browser, however, for the sole purpose of being able to print checks, reports, etc. directly, without having to export, I have started using Firefox when opening Blackbaud. I love that I can print without having to export all the time. It just eliminates that extra step. Hope that helps.
  • Ever since they updated the reporting, I have been having issues. When I print my reports, I seem to get a line of $0.00 in columns that should have no data - it is just a blank column. Also, they added the note that says the "start period must be on or before end period." That is extremely annoying - not sure why they thought that was necessary - wish it was removed. The reporting update has probably been the worse update yet!

Tari - If you are talking about the Date's section. I have just noticed something strange today.

When I am using "Specific Range" on the Date section, the date field does not work for me as shown, MM/DD/YYYY

If I select the date from the pulldown calendar it changes to DD/MM/YYYY

This may be due to my region being in Canada, but this was not an issue before the report update.

  • I would be happy to rant with you...here is what I have learned...we could not print through Chrome and were told to use firefox which does work for us without going through the PDF step. Unfortunately, we have not been able to generate reports for over a week. I keep checking on the status of my support chat and finally got a supervisor who told me no update on resolution until this Friday the 16th!

    So very disappointed...
