Can anyone provide some assistance on how to retrieve a report that shows or tracks user activities? Will it also show user activities in the admin section or user account setup?

    Hi Rosetta!

    In the FE Database View I created queries. For example I created a query show who added invoices. I added “Added by” to the Output tab along with other invoice details. The results can then be exported to excel.

    In FE Journal Entry you can add “Added by” and “Last Changed By” to the columns by right clicking on the column header and choosing Columns. This list can be exported to Excel by right mouse clicking or by clicking on export and defining the criteria in parameter file.

    In FE NXT I use Analysis > Dashboards > Metrics and set the criteria as needed. I noticed there are problems with these printing correctly so instead you can download to Excel by clicking on the gear icon in the right hand corner.

    I have not found any premade reports that show all user activity.

    I have also set up similar queries in RE.

    Hi Angela - any reports to track changes in master data (changes to vendor records for example)? Thanks.

    I searched the Blackbaud Community for vendor reports and found this thread, where @Leslie Kane and @Monica Hoffman discussed using annotations to track changes to vendors.

    You could do a Vendor Query in AP and add vendor properties to the output. However it doesn't tell you what changed. Only when it was last changed and by whom. Vendors have Actions - we do not use the Action Tab on the Vendor Report but and maybe notes would be a good way to track activity. You could set up a query on those items. There is a History of Changes Tab but that only records things like a vendor name change.
