default setting for this journal entry box in NXT

In FE we were able to set the default so whenever any of us created a JE, this box would automatically be checked. Since we started JEs in NXT we have not been able to set this default ourselves. Anyone out there had any luck?

    I don't think you can change it in NXT. You'll need to go into the Database view to change the Business Rules.

    We did do that in the database years ago but now that we are creating journal entries in NXT we found that the default we put in place does not carry over, of course. We are creating all journal entries using the batch creator since it is much easier but without the default check box filled in for NXT as it is in the FE DB, we have to remember to go back in to check that box either in NXT or FE. Not checking the box becomes an issue with electronic bank recs.


    We are figuring that this option may be out of our ability but possibly with someone else who has more admin rights in the program than the rest of us do.
