Recording payments in SKY...

Does anyone else think that recording payments in SKY is worse than recording them in BBGM Classic? SKY doesn't give you a drop down screen like Classic does in which you can record the paid date and check number at the same time. Way more cumbersome in SKY, way more clicks, BIG waste of my time! Upgrade?? More like downgrade!

The transition from the Classic view to the SKY view has enabled features to be built and pushed live to our clients at a faster rate. The best way to submit product specific feedback is through the ideas portal because it enables transparency into tracking the feedback. We are excited for the future of Blackbaud Grantmaking as enhanced features and consistent improvements are rolled out.

I don't understand why it is recommended that I submit “product specific feedback” through the ideas portal. I'm not suggesting a new feature here…I'm pointing out a previously existing feature that was in BBGM and was lost in the “upgrade” to SKY. Providing Blackbaud with features that already existed in previous versions seems counter intuitive to me…how well do you know your product???

I agree…SKY has increased the number of clicks to do a task instead of subtracted them. I do like the way SKY handles merging PDFs now and reordering them, but Blackbaud still has some refining to do with other tasks.
